Východiska: Porozumění vzorcům užívání a potřebám mladých dospělých uživatelů nelegálních návykových látek (NL) představuje výzvu především z důvodu skryté povahy tohoto problému. Lidé užívající drogy rizikově (LDR) mohou čelit vážným zdravotním a sociálním problémům. Praha patří mezi oblast s největším počtem LDR, nízkoprahové adiktologické služby však zaznamenávají trend stárnutí populace klientů. Navázání kontaktu s touto skupinou má potenciál snižovat důsledky a podporovat méně rizikové formy užívání, stejně tak usnadnit vstup do dalších služeb adiktologické péče. Cíle: Cílem výzkumu byla analýza potřeb populace mladých dospělých uživatelů NL v Praze, kteří odpovídali definici rizikového užívání EMCDDA, se zaměřením na identifikaci vzorců užívání a potřeb ve vztahu k nízkoprahovým adiktologickým službám. Výsledky výzkumu měly být podnětem pro zlepšení poskytovaných služeb. Metody: Byla provedena studie metodou rychlého posuzování (Rapid Assessment and Response). Výzkumný soubor byl získán metodou záměrného výběru a tvořen 6 mladými dospělými LDR v Praze (3 v kontaktu se službami, 3 ze skryté populace) a 18 klíčovými informanty (peer pracovníky, odborníky nízkoprahových a dalších sociálních služeb a zástupců institucí). Background: Understanding patterns of use and the needs of young adult users of illegal addictive substances presents a challenge primarily due to the hidden nature of this problem. Individuals engaging in problem drug use (PDU) may face severe health and social problems. Prague stands among regions with the highest prevalence of PDU, yet low-threshold addiction services note an aging trend among their clients. Establishing contact with this group has the potential to reduce consequences and encourage less risky usage patterns, while simultaneously facilitating entry into further addiction care services. Aim: The aim of the research was to analyze the needs of the young adult substance users in Prague, who fit the definition of PDU according to EMCDDA, with a focus on identifying patterns of usage and needs in relation to low-threshold addiction services. The research results were intended to serve as an initiative for improving the services provided. Methods: A study employing the Rapid Assessment and Response (RAR) method was conducted.
