Porovnání vývoje vybraných demografických ukazatelů ve státech jižní Evropy na začátku 21. století Abstrakt Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je srovnání vybraných demografických ukazatelů v zemích jižní Evropy v letech 2000-2021. Mezi tyto země byly vybrány Itálie, Španělsko, Portugalsko a Řecko. Práce poskytuje základní socioekonomickou analýzu zmíněných zemí, jejich populační struktury a vývoj základních ukazatelů přirozené reprodukce za působení vlivu složek plodnosti, úmrtnosti a migrace. Na základě analýzy demografických procesů byla vyslovena hypotéza o zásadním vlivu imigrace na populační růst. Byla také vytyčena dvě krizová období, která postihla všechny státy a byla sledována změna dosavadního trendu vývoje ukazatelů plodnosti a úmrtnosti. Druhá hypotéza předpokládá největší změnu ukazatelů plodnosti v době ekonomické krize a ukazatelů úmrtnosti v době epidemiologické krize. Výsledky první analýzy ukazují, že imigrace v současnosti určuje vývoj celkového přírůstku obyvatelstva. Potvrzuje se i druhá hypotéza, závěr analýzy objasňuje dosavadní přímý vliv hospodářské krize na snižování intenzity porodnosti, zatímco epidemiologická krize ovlivnila ukazatele úmrtnosti pouze dočasně, avšak razantně. Comparison of the development of selected demographic indicators in the Southern European countries at the beginning of the 21st century Abstract The main aim of this bachelor's thesis is the comparison of selected demographic indicators in the countries of Southern Europe during the years 2000-2021. Among these countries, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece were chosen. The thesis provides a basic socio-economic analysis of the mentioned countries, their population structure and the development of basic indicators of natural reproduction under the influence of the components of fertility, mortality and migration. Based on the analysis of demographic processes, a hypothesis was raised about the fundamental influence of immigration on population growth. Two crisis periods were also marked out, which affected all states, and the change in the current trend of the development of fertility and mortality indicators was monitored. The second hypothesis assumes the greatest change in fertility indicators during the economic crisis and mortality indicators during the epidemiological crisis. The results of the first analysis reveal that immigration currently determines the development of the total population increase.
