Cílem bakalářské práce je zmapování problematiky diferenční diagnostiky ADHD v obecné rovině a následně se zaměřením na klíčové prvky pro odlišení ADHD a hraniční poruchy osobnosti. ADHD je v dospělé populaci značně poddiagnostikovanou poruchou. Jednou z hlavních příčin je symptomatický překryv s jinými diagnózami, které jsou zároveň s ADHD často komorbidní. Problematické je také aktuální znění diagnostických kritérií, protože neobsahují všechny příznaky ADHD, a navíc nedostatečně reflektují specifické projevy poruchy u dospělých. Zatím také neexistují objektivní měřítka, na jejichž základě by se ADHD mohlo diagnostikovat. Nesprávnou diagnózou je lidem s ADHD znepřístupněna správná léčba, která by mohla zmírnit výrazná psychosociální poškození spojená s touto poruchou. Teoretická část práce shrnuje diagnostické metody ADHD a také problematické oblasti, které správnou diagnostiku ztěžují. Práce dále uvádí souhrn diagnóz, které jsou s ADHD nejčastěji komorbidní nebo zaměňované společně s projevy, ve kterých se jednotlivé poruchy odlišují. Hlavním zaměřením práce je diferenciální diagnostika ADHD a hraniční poruchy osobnosti. V práci jsme identifikovali klíčové symptomatické překryvy a také projevy typické jen pro jednu z poruch. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to map the issues of differential diagnosis of ADHD in general, and then focusing on the key elements for differentiating ADHD and borderline personality disorder. ADHD is a significantly underdiagnosed disorder in the adult population. One of the main causes is symptomatic overlap with other disorders, which are also often comorbid with ADHD. The current wording of the diagnostic criteria is also problematic, as it does not include all the symptoms of ADHD and, moreover, does not adequately reflect the specific manifestations of the disorder in adults. There are also as yet no objective measures by which ADHD can be diagnosed. Misdiagnosis leads to people with ADHD missing proper treatment that could alleviate the significant psychosocial impairments associated with the disorder. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes the diagnostic methods for ADHD as well as the problem areas that make correct diagnosis difficult. The thesis also provides a summary of the diagnoses that are most often comorbid or confused with ADHD, along with the ways in which each disorder differs.
