Bakalářská práce se zabývá historickou událostí, která změnila v srpnu 1968 chod Československa. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na dobový tisk a to, jak o intervenci vojsk Varšavské smlouvy informoval ve výročních dnech invaze. Sledované období je vymezené na jednotlivé výroční dny vstupu vojsk na území Československa. Jde tedy o 21. srpen 1969, 21. srpen 1970 a tak dále, až do 21. srpna 2000. Analyzovanými periodiky jsou Rudé právo a Právo, Mladá fronta a Mladá fronta Dnes, Svobodné slovo, Lidové noviny a Nová svoboda. Stěžejní částí práce je analýza vybraných periodik, z nichž jsou vybrány texty, které okupaci přímo či nepřímo zmiňují. Tím práce poukazuje na to, jak se v průběhu let měnil způsob informování o událostech srpna 1968. The bachelor thesis deals with the historical event that changed the course of Czechoslovakia in August 1968 and the subsequent occupation of the country. Specifically, it focuses on the contemporary press and how it covered the intervention of Warsaw Pact troops on the anniversary days of the invasion. The period under study is as delineated on the individual anniversary days of the entry of Warsaw Pact troops into Czechoslovakia. It is therefore 21 August 1969, 21 August 1970 and so on, up to 21 August 2000. The periodicals analysed are Rudé právo and Právo, Mladá fronta and Mladá fronta Dnes, Svobodné slovo, Lidové noviny and Nová svoboda. The main part of the thesis is the analysis of selected periodicals from which texts are selected that directly or indirectly mention the occupation. In this way, the thesis shows how the way of reporting on the events of August 1968 has changed over the years.
