Východiska: Akupunktura se řadí mezi komplementární a alternativní medicínu. Je to lékařská disciplína, která se zabývá prevencí, diagnostikou a léčbou různých onemocnění, kam se řadí i návykové nemoci. Na zahraničních klinikách, především v USA, je akupunktura součástí léčby. Dle zahraničních studií může akupunktura napomoci ke snížení cravingu, zlepšit zvládání nepříjemných odvykacích stavů, snížit stres a úzkost nebo zlepšit spánek. Cíle: Cílem diplomové práce je popsat subjektivní zkušenosti a prožitky ze sezení s akupunkturou a jejich subjektivní význam v procesu úzdravy. Výzkumné otázky jsou zamřené na prožitky z akupunktury, jak na sobě respondenti pociťují vliv akupunktury a jak lze využít tuto metodu dle jejich zkušenosti v léčbě závislosti. Metody: Ke sběru dat byla zvolena metoda kvalitativního výzkumu, polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Výzkumný soubor tvoří 5 respondentů. K analýze získaných dat byla využita interpretativní fenomenologická analýza, která se zaměřuje na porozumění žité zkušenosti člověka a napomáhá blíže prozkoumat, jaký význam přisuzuje své zkušenosti určitý člověk. Výsledky: Výsledky z rozhovorů s respondenty jsou v podobě témat. Na základě analýzy vzniklo 6 hlavních témat: uvolnění, účinek na chutě a abstinenční příznaky, víra v metodu, doplněk léčby, (ne)bolest, žádný... Backround: Acupuncture is classified as complementary and alternative medicine. It is a medical discipline that deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including addictive diseases. In foreign clinics, especially in the USA, acupuncture is part of the treatment. According to foreign studies, acupuncture can help reduce cravings, improve coping with unpleasant withdrawal symptoms, reduce stress and anxiety, or improve sleep. Aim: The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the subjective experiences of acupuncture sessions and their subjective significance in the recovery process. The research questions are focused on the experiences of acupuncture, how the respondents feel the influence of acupuncture on themselves and how this method can be used according to their experience in the treatment of addiction. Methods: A qualitative research method, a semi-structured interview, was chosen for data collection. The research group consists of 5 respondents. An interpretative phenomenological analysis was used to analyze the obtained data, which focuses on understanding the lived experience of a person and helps to examine more closely what meaning a certain person attributes to his experience.
