Bakalářská práce se zabývá popsáním depresí kostního povrchu pánve, které jsou v literatuře popisovány jako "indikátory porodu", a na základě publikací shrnuje údaje, zda lze kostní deprese na pánvi spojovat s těhotenstvím a porodem, a jaké další faktory se mohou podílet na tvorbě těchto depresí. Mezi "indikátory porodu" se řadí preaurikulární žlábky a dorzální jamky kosti stydké. Historicky byly přisuzovány průběhu těhotenství a porodu, kdy dochází k fyziologickým a hormonálním změnám. Novější studie a nové metody výzkumu však připisují vznik těchto depresí nejen těhotenství, ale i tvaru pánve, věku, zvýšenému BMI člověka, fyzické aktivitě či zdravotním komplikacím. Různé faktory mohou přispět k vzniku depresí na kostním povrchu u žen i mužů. Z toho důvodu tzv. "indikátory porodu" nemohou být považovány za spolehlivý ukazatel uskutečněného těhotenství a porodu. Nicméně, je třeba poznamenat, že rozdíl v četnosti depresí mezi pohlavími je výrazný, protože u žen je výskyt těchto depresí častější a markantnější. Tento fakt může být užitečným nástrojem při odhadování pohlaví, ale je třeba postupovat opatrně a brát v úvahu i další relevantní faktory. Popis a analýza biomechaniky pánve, pohlavního dimorfismu pánve a procesům remodelace pánve během života jsou nezbytné pro hlubší porozumění vzniku depresí... This bachelor's thesis describes the depressions of the pelvic bony surface, which are described in the literature as "indicators of childbirth", and summarizes the data on whether pelvic bony depressions can be associated with pregnancy and childbirth, and what other factors may be involved in the formation of these depressions. The "birth indicators" include the preauricular grooves and the dorsal fossa of the pubic bone. Historically, they have been attributed to the course of pregnancy and childbirth when physiological and hormonal changes occur. However, more recent studies and new research methods have attributed the development of these depressions not only to pregnancy but also to pelvic shape, age, increased BMI of the person, physical activity, or medical complications. A variety of factors can contribute to the development of bone surface depression in both women and men. For this reason, so-called "birth indicators" cannot be considered a reliable indicator of completed pregnancy and childbirth, and secondary use of knowledge of these depressions in sex estimation, especially by application in forensic sciences.
