Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl ověřit faktorovou strukturu dotazníku SSI (Social skills inventory, Inventář sociálních dovedností), a to na běžné i klinické populaci, konkrétně populaci, která prošla adverzními dětskými zkušenostmi (ACE). Nejdříve je charakterizováno období vynořující se dospělosti jakožto cílové skupiny. Dále práce podává základní přehled literatury týkající se sociálních dovedností jak v zahraničí, tak v českém prostředí a představuje SSI jako výzkumný nástroj. Problematika ACE je charakterizována a zkoumána v souvislosti s vynořující se dospělostí a sociálními dovednostmi. Výzkum v této práci neověřil předpoklad, že šestifaktorový model SSI (Riggio & Carney) bude odpovídat datům nasbíraným na české populaci ve vynořující se dospělosti. Vzniklo čtyřfaktorové řešení, jehož odhady reliability jsou přinejmenším na stejné úrovni jako odhady reliability v původní verzi SSI. Nicméně výsledky naznačují, že SSI pravděpodobně není validním nástrojem pro měření sociálních dovedností a je třeba tyto závěry dále ověřit. Proto práce navrhuje studii na reprezentativním vzorku české populace se zahrnutím populace s ACE, která by ověřila faktorovou strukturu SSI. This bachelor theses's main goal is to test and verify the factor structure of the SSI (Social skills inventory) on common population and on clinical population as well, specifically population that went through adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). First, the period of emerging adulthood is characterized as the target group. Then this theses give a basic overview of literature concerning social skills abroad and in the Czech context as well and introduce SSI as a research instrument. The ACE issue is characterized and studied in the connection with the emerging adulthood and social skills. The research in this theses did not verify the assumption that SSI six-factor model (Riggio & Carney, 2003) will correspond with the data collected on the Czech population in the period of emerging adulthood. A four-factor solution was created, its reliability estimates are at least as acceptable as are estimates in the original study of SSI. However, these results suggest that SSI is probably not a valid instrument for measuring social skills and further verification of these results is needed. Therefore, this theses suggests a research carried out on a representative sample of Czech population with the inclusion of ACE population that would verify the factor structure of SSI.
