Tématem bakalářské práce je problematika syndromu týraného, zneužívaného a zanedbávaného dítěte (Child Abuse & Neglect - CAN) a povědomí učitelů základních škol o této problematice. Práce se zaměřuje na zjištění, zda jsou učitelé dostatečně připraveni na detekci, řešení a předcházení případů týrání, zneužívání a zanedbávání dětí a zda mají dostatečné znalosti o jednotlivých formách syndromu CAN a zvláštních formách. Teoretická část práce se věnuje definici a popisu různých forem syndromu CAN a rizikovým faktorům, které mohou vést k jeho vzniku. Dále se v této části práce přibližuje nástinem kvalifikační předpoklad pro působení učitele na 2. stupni ZŠ. Výzkumná část práce se zaměřuje na dotazování učitelek a učitelů základních škol. Za pomoci dotazníkového šetření zkoumá, zda jsou učitelé schopni definovat formy syndromu CAN, a zda se ve své praxi setkali s případy týrání, zneužívání a zanedbávání dětí a jakým způsobem byli na tuto problematiku připraveni. Cílem této části práce je také zjistit, zda vnímají učitelé ZŠ prevenci syndromu CAN za dostatečnou. Klíčová slova: syndrom CAN, prevence syndromu CAN, vzdělávání učitelů, 2. stupeň základních škol The topic of the bachelor thesis is the issue of Child Abuse & Neglect (CAN) syndrome and the awareness of elementary school teachers regarding this issue. The thesis focuses on determining whether teachers are adequately prepared to detect, address, and prevent cases of child abuse, exploitation, and neglect, and whether they have sufficient knowledge about the various forms of CAN syndrome and its specific manifestations. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with defining and describing different forms of CAN syndrome and the risk factors that can contribute to its development. This section also outlines the qualification requirements for teachers working at the lower secondary level of primary schools. The research part of the thesis focuses on surveying elementary school teachers. Through a questionnaire survey, it examines whether teachers are capable of defining the forms of CAN syndrome and whether they have encountered cases of child abuse, exploitation, and neglect in their practice, as well as how they were prepared to address this issue. The aim of this section is also to determine whether the teachers perceive the prevention of CAN syndrome in elementary schools as sufficient.
