Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá lexikálními výpůjčkami z afrických jazyků v češtině. Teoretická část se věnuje objasnění pojmů týkajících se přejímání, jako je jazykový kontakt, proces přejímání slov, motivace pro přejímání a adaptace výpůjček. Dále představuje několik způsobů klasifikace výpůjček. Následuje charakteristika afrických jazyků včetně historie jejich členění. V praktické části jsou shromážděny výpůjčky z afrických jazyků, jež byly excerpovány z českých slovníků a dalších publikací. U každého slova, pokud je to možné, je uveden jeho význam a informace o zdrojovém jazyce, původní podobě, zprostředkovacích jazycích a dataci přejetí do češtiny, které byly čerpány z etymologických slovníků. The theoretical part is devoted to the clarification of concepts related to borrowing, such as language contact, the process of lexical borrowing, motivation for borrowing, and adaptation of loanwords. It also presents several ways of classifying loanwords. This is followed by a characterization of African languages, including the history of their subdivision. In the practical part, loanwords from African languages that have been excerpted from Czech dictionaries and other publications are collected. For each word, where possible, its meaning and information on the source language, original form, intermediary languages, and the date of adaptation into Czech, which were drawn from etymological dictionaries, are given.
