(česky) Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na výzkum role a podoby propagandy v Japonsku v letech 1941 až 1945. Centrem zájmu jsou hromadné sdělovací prostředky, které byly využívány k jejímu šíření. Práce si tak klade za cíl poskytnout komplexní pohled na japonskou válečnou propagandu a na to, jak byla využívána ke kontrole a ovlivňování obyvatelstva. Analýza propagandy je prováděna v kontextu historických událostí a zaměřuje se na vliv nacionalismu a pan-asianismu na podobu propagandy a na její odraz v médiích jak na území Japonska, tak na okupovaných územích. (in English): This thesis focuses on researching the role and form of propaganda in Japan from 1941 to 1945. The focus is on the mass media used to spread propaganda. The goal is to provide a comprehensive view of Japanese wartime propaganda and how it was used to control and influence the population. The analysis of propaganda is conducted in the context of historical events and focuses on the influence of nationalism and pan-Asianism on the form of propaganda and its reflection in the media, both in Japan and on occupied territories.
