Diplomová práce se zabývá reakcemi zahraničních interpretů populární hudby na vybrané sociální problémy v 21. století. Práce je rozdělena do teoretické části, metodologie výzkumu a empirické části. V teoretické části je přiblížen vývoj populární hudby a jsou představeny její žánry. Teoreticky jsou vysvětleny také vybrané sociální problémy dnešní doby. V metodologii výzkumu jsou vymezeny jednotlivé kvalitativní analýzy a výzkumné otázky. Empirická část zahrnuje dva hlavní druhy výzkumu. V první fázi je na hudebních textech z tohoto století využívána kvalitativní analýza obsahu hudebních textů společně s kvalitativní analýzou zahraničních mediálních obsahů. Ve druhé fázi empirické části jsou provedeny hloubkové rozhovory. V závěru jsou interpretovány a shrnuty výsledky empirické části. Cílem této diplomové práce je skrze kvalitativní analýzy a výzkumné otázky zjistit, jak se světové celebrity z oblasti populární hudby staví k vybraným sociálním problémům 21. století a jaký dopad můžou mít jejich názory na širokou veřejnost. Přínosem této diplomové práce je analýza vlivu hudebních textů a celosvětově známých umělců na myšlenkové pochody posluchačů. Hudba je velkou součástí lidských životů a dokáže tak jednotlivce vést k zamyšlení se nad důležitými sociálními problémy současnosti. 1 The diploma thesis deals with the reactions of foreign performers of popular music to selected social issues in the 21st century. The diploma thesis is divided into a theoretical part, a research methodology and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, the development of popular music is described and its genres are introduced. Selected social issues of today are also theoretically explained. Qualitative analyzes and research questions are defined in the research methodology. The empirical part includes two main types of research. In the first phase, a qualitative analysis of the content of musical texts together with a qualitative analysis of foreign media content is used on musical texts from this century. In-depth interviews are conducted in the second phase of the empirical part. In the conclusion, the results of the empirical part are interpreted and summarized. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out, through qualitative analyzes and research questions, how world celebrities from the field of popular music stand towards selected social issues of the 21st century and what impact their opinions can have on the general public.
