I Abstrakt Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku šikany na pracovišti neboli mobbingu, s cílem identifikovat organizační faktory ovlivňující výskyt šikany na pracovišti ve státním sektoru. Obsahem teoretické části práce je vymezení hlavních pojmů a teorií souvisejících se šikanou jakožto jednou z hlavních forem tzv. pracovní hostility. Na úvod je představen disciplinární kontext výzkumu v psychologii pracovního zdraví. Následně jsou prezentovány definice a typologie šikany na pracovišti a podrobně diskutovány hlavní organizační prediktory šikany, včetně pracovních nároků či leadershipu. Podrobně je popsána Teorie pracovních nároků a zdrojů (Job-Demands Theory, JD-R), jež představuje teoretický rámec pro ověřované hypotézy v empirické části práce. Teoretická část je zakončena přehledem prevalence mobbingu v zahraničí a v České republice. Empirická část práce popisuje realizovaný kvantitativní výzkum, jehož cílem bylo zjistit prevalenci a formy mobbingu a identifikovat vybrané organizační prediktory mobbingu ve státním sektoru. Na základě JD-R teorie byly formulovány hypotézy o vztahu mezi pracovními nároky/zdroji a výskytem mobbingu. Formulované hypotézy byly ověřovány na vzorku státních pracovníků (n = 201). The thesis focuses on the issue of workplace bullying or mobbing, with the aim of identifying organizational factors affecting the incidence of workplace bullying in the public sector. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the main concepts and theories related to bullying as one of the main forms of workplace hostility. The disciplinary context of research in occupational health psychology is introduced. Subsequently, definitions and typologies of workplace bullying are presented and the main organizational predictors of bullying, including job demands or leadership, are discussed in detail. The Job-Demands and Resources (JD-R) Theory is described in detail and provides a theoretical framework for the hypotheses tested in the empirical part of the paper. The theoretical part ends with an overview of the prevalence of mobbing abroad and in the Czech Republic. The empirical part of the thesis describes the quantitative research conducted to determine the prevalence and forms of mobbing and to identify selected organisational predictors of mobbing in the public sector.
