Povrchové úpravy kompozitních materiálů představují specifickou problematiku z pohledu konstrukce automatického lakovacího zařízení. Moduly pro povrchovou úpravu byly navrženy pro integraci do stávající pultruzní linky, s důrazem na zachování ergonomie pracoviště a dodržení prostorových požadavků. Volba vhodného laku proběhla nejprve z nátěrových hmot dostupných na trhu, následně pokračovala formou spolupráce s výrobcem. Spolupráce vedla k vývoji práškové, termálně vytvrditelné formulace a tekuté, UV vytvrditelné formulace. Po testech přilnavosti byla zvolena optimalizovaná verze UV formulace. Konstrukce lakovacího zařízení se odvíjí od požadavků specifických pro vybranou formu UV vytvrditelných laků. Skládá se z technologií pro předúpravu povrchu UV zářením, aplikaci nátěrové hmoty a vytvrzení vrstvy pomocí UV záření. Předúprava povrchu vychází ze zkušeností dodavatele aplikačních technologií a vlastních experimentů. Aplikace nátěru využívá stříkacích pistolí, opět zvolených na základě testování ve výrobě. Vytvrzení nátěru zajišťuje sestava UV zářičů s regulovatelným výkonem. Úspora nákladů díky automatizaci procesu a eliminaci lidské práce je za současných podmínek téměř anulována vlivem vysoké ceny vybrané nátěrové hmoty. Při dosažení predikovaných výrobních objemů může úspora dosáhnout až 10–12 Kč za běžný metr profilu. Surface treatments of composite materials represent a specific issue in terms of the design of automatic painting equipment. The surface treatment modules were designed to be integrated into an existing pultrusion line, with an emphasis on maintaining the ergonomics of the workplace and adhering to space requirements. The selection of a suitable paint was first made from the coatings available on the market, then continued through collaboration with the manufacturer. The collaboration led to the development of a powdered, thermally curable formulation and a liquid, UV curable formulation. After adhesion tests, an optimised version of the UV formulation was selected. The design of the coating equipment is based on the requirements specific to the selected UV curable formulation. It consists of technologies for UV surface pretreatment, paint application and UV curing of the coating. The surface pretreatment is based on the experience of the supplier of the application technologies and own experiments. Coating application uses spray guns, again selected on the basis of testing in production. Curing of the coating is provided by a set of UV emitters with adjustable output power. Cost savings due to automation of the process and elimination of human labour are insignificant under current conditions due to the high price of the selected coating material. If the predicted production volumes are achieved, the savings can reach up to 10-12 CZK per linear metre of profile.
