The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of technology for the production of a component called a basic flange. The component is used for clamping the grinding wheel and is made of alluminum alloy. First there are theoretically dismantled individual production technologies, machinability and tool materials. The production technology for production in small series is designed and machinery and tooling equipment are selected. Furthermore, the bachelor’s thesis includes technological process and manufacturing instructions, which contains the cutting conditions for each tool. The manufacturing instructions are used to determinate machine time, among other things. Finally, the actual production of the component is shown.
