Tato práce se zabývá materiály, které by mohly být využity ve veterinárním tkáňovém inženýrství. Jedním z těchto materiálů je i hydroxyapatit, tvořící přípravek PerOssal® (51,5 % hydroxyapatit, 48,5 % síran vápenatý), který byl v této práci použit. Bylo pozorováno chování pelety tohoto přípravku ve vodném prostředí, kde docházelo k jejímu rozpadu na částice, které byly následně analyzovány pomocí metody DLS a skenovací elektronové mikroskopie. Částice tvořící peletu se velikostně pohybují v řádech mikrometrů v případě síranu vápenatého a v řádech nanometrů v případě hydroxyapatitu. Hlavním cílem bylo pozorovat difúzní charakteristiku hydroxyapatitu (PerOssal®) za pomocí Rhodaminu 6G, kdy bylo zjištěno, že během 18 dnů peleta postupně uvolňuje různé koncentrace fluorescenční sondy, aniž by se samovolně rozpadla a nejintenzivnější uvolňování probíhalo během prvních dvou dnů experimentu. Přípravek PerOssal® má ve veterinární medicíně potenciál, nejen díky tomu, že může být použit jako výplňový materiál při náhradě kostní tkáně, ale i díky své schopnosti být nosičem, jelikož je peleta schopná do svého objemu nasorbovat vodný roztok léčiva a následně ho v delším časovém úseku uvolňovat v malých dávkách. This bachelor thesis focuses on materials that could be used in veterinary tissue engineering, including hydroxyapatite, which is one of the main components of PerOssal® (51,5 % hydroxyapatite, 48,5 % calcium sulphate), which was used in the experimental part of this thesis. The behavior of the PerOssal® pellet in an aqueous environment was observed, which resulted in disintegration into particles. These particles were subsequently analyzed using DLS and SEM methods and ranged in sizes from micrometers for calcium sulfate to nanometers for hydroxyapatite. The main purpose of this thesis was to observe the diffusion characteristics of hydroxyapatite using Rhodamine 6G and PerOssal®. It was found that over 18 days, the pellet gradually released fluctuating concentrations of the fluorescent dye without spontaneously disintegrating, with the most intense release occurring during the first two days of the experiment. PerOssal® has potential use in veterinary medicine, not only as a bone tissue substitute, but also due to its ability to act as a carrier. The pellet can absorb an aqueous drug solution into its volume and subsequently releasing it in small doses over an extended time.
