Cílem práce je zmapovat využití služebního psa v Integrovaném záchranném systému České republiky a vymezit odlišnosti výcviku služebních psů záchranáři a PČR. Title: The Use of Service Dog in the Area of Integrated Rescue System. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the problems of Integrated Rescue System of the Czech Republic, its development and total description. Further it describes the development of service cynology within the Police of the CR, rescue cynology, and canistherapy, which is not well-known but very important in the area of cynology. The objective of the thesis is to map the use of service dogs in Integrated Rescue System of the CR and specify the differences in training of service dogs by rescuers and police. Further it is to find out about the knowledge of the members of Integrated Rescue System in the field of service dog use. Quantitative method of questioning was used in the research part of the thesis. Information necessary for reaching the objective and hypotheses were gained by means of guided dialogue and questionnaire investigation. The research which results from guided dialogue proved the hypothesis that the degree of service dog readiness for the use in Integrated Rescue System meets all requirements of the Police of CR. Questionnaire investigation disproved the hypothesis that in educational process of Integrated Rescue System enough space is devoted to the problems of service dog use. One solution might be the offering of information material to basic units of Integrated Rescue System. The units would learn more about the possibilities of dog use in the system. Simultaneously, organizing more tactic exercises and meetings of particular units of Integrate Rescue System where dog handlers would take part in.
