Tato práce se zabývá návrhem analogově-digitálního převodníku s registrem postupné aproximace pro použití v automobilovém průmyslu s rozsahem pracovních teplot od -40 °C do 175 °C a s použitím DAC se spínanými kapacitory vytvořenými mezi spoji na integrovaném obvodu k minimalizaci plochy převodníku. Teoretická část práce se zabývá základní teorií analogově-digitálních převodníků, principem převodníku s registrem postupné aproximace s použitím kapacitního DAC. Dále pak návrhem kapacitorů pro DAC na integrovaném obvodu z vrstev kovů a prokovů a jejich layoutem k minimalizaci parazitních kapacit. V praktické části je proveden návrh převodníku na blokové úrovni. Dále je proveden návrh kapacitoru pro tento DAC a layout celého DAC. Na tranzistorové úrovni jsou navrženy a ověřeny bloky potřebné k realizaci tohoto převodníku: obvod napěťového sledovače, operační zesilovač, komparátor a přepínače. V převodníku je implementován self-test obvod pro vlastní měření nelinearity s jehož pomocí je převodník ověřen. V práci je ověřena funkčnost převodníku jako celku. This work deals with the design of analog to digital converter with a successive approximation register for automotive industry with the range of operating temperatures from -40 °C to 175 °C and with the use of DAC with switched capacitors between interconnect metal tracks in an integrated circuit to minimize converter area. Theoretical part deals with the basic theory of analog to digital converters, principle of converter with a successive approximation register with the utilization of capacitive DAC. Then with the design of capacitors for the DAC in an integrated circuit made of metal layers and vias and their layout to minimize parasitic capacities. In the practical part is made the theoretical design of the converter on block level. Then is done the design of a capacitor for this DAC and layout of the whole DAC is made. On the transistor level are designed and verified blocks required for realization of this converter: circuit of voltage follower, operational amplifier, comparator and switches. Inside the converter the self-test circuit is implemented for measurement of its own nonlinearity. In the work the functionality of the converter is verified as a whole.
