Město. Hlavní centrum všeho lidského dění, v jehož architektuře se odráží um a vyspělost obyvatel a hodnoty společnosti, ve které vzniklo. Existuje nespočet přístupů a teorií, jak by správné město mělo vypadat a fungovat. Jan Gehl napsal: „Dobré město se v mnohém podobá dobrému večírku: hosté zůstávají, protože se baví.“ Je to ovšem tak prosté? A co nám brání užívat si našeho města a bavit se v jeho ulicích? Ve své diplomové práci jsem se rozhodla podívat na téma městského prostoru z trochu jiného úhlu, než je tomu zvykem a skrz potenciál malých zásahů se pokusit podpořit život mezi budovami. City. There are countless approaches and theories on how a proper city should look and function. Jan Gehl wrote: "A good city is in many ways like a good party: the guests stay because they are having fun." But is it as simple as that? And what keeps us from enjoying our city and having fun in its streets? In my master thesis I decided to look at the subject of urban space from a slightly different angle than usual, and through the potential of small interventions to try to encourage life between buildings.
