Tento projekt je odpovědí na volání divočiny, a podobně jako výlet do liduprázdných nehostinných hor byla i tato práce opuštěním komfortní zóny městského prostředí. Projekt se zabývá alternativním pohledem na pozemek bývalého rekreačního areálu, který se nachází v chráněné krajinné oblasti Jeseníků, objat vzrostlými stromy na stráni pod lesem v obci Ostružná na severu Moravy. Návrh přistupuje k této lokalitě s ohledem na ráz jesenických Sudet a vytváří rekreační areál s přirozenou strukturou zástavby, která svým měřítkem nedominuje okolní přírodě, nýbrž do ní citlivě a nenápadně zapadá. Zároveň návrh reflektuje současné požadavky a potřeby návštěvníků, kteří hledají únik z rušné civilizace do poklidného prostředí. Svou esencí i podobou se snaží odlišit od bývalého hotelu i jeho připravovaného vzkříšení, a naopak navázat na zažité tvarosloví, které pouze doplňuje o nové prvky, avšak tak aby jako celek bylo stále v souladu s krajinným rázem. This project is a response to the call of the wilderness, and similarly to a trip to the desolate, inhospitable mountains, this work was a departure from the comfort zone of an urban environment. The project deals with an alternative view of the site of a former recreational area located in the protected landscape area of the Jeseníky Mountains, surrounded by mature trees on a hillside below a forest, in the village of Ostružná in northern Moravia. The proposal approaches this site with respect to the character of the Jeseníky Sudeten Mountains and creates a recreational area with a natural structure of buildings, which does not overpower the surrounding nature in its scale but fits in sensitively and unobtrusively. At the same time, the design reflects current requirements and needs of visitors, who seek an escape from a busy civilisation to a peaceful environment. In its essence and form the project seeks to distinguish itself from the former hotel and its forthcoming resurrection. On the contrary, it aims to build on an established morphology, supplementing it only with new elements, so that the new creation is still harmonious with the character of the landscape.
