Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na hledání zdrojů aktivit a pozitivních faktorů, které zažívají peer konzultanti ve svém profesním i běžném životě, a také na hledání limitů a bariér, se kterými se setkávají a jež jim berou energii a odvahu. V první kapitole práce je popsán přehled duševního zdraví světové populace dle WHO, také vývoj peer podpory a přístupů k lidem s duševním onemocněním. Dále je přiblížen historický kontext situace reforem systému péče o duševní zdraví v zahraničí i v České republice. Snažila jsem se ukázat i náhled na reformu péče o duševní zdraví z hlediska lidí se zkušeností s duševní nemocí. Klíčová slova: zotavení (recovery) a jeho vývoj, peer pracovníci v historii v současnosti, reforma péče o duševní zdraví v ČR This Diploma thesis focuses on finding the sources of activities and positive factors experienced by peer consultants in their professional and everyday life, as well as finding the limits and barriers they encounter that take away their energy and courage. In the first chapter of the thesis, an overview of the mental health of the world population according to the WHO is described, as well as the development of peer support and approaches to people with mental illness. Next, I describe the historical context of the situation of reforms of the mental health care system abroad and in the Czech Republic.
