Východiska: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením dlouhodobé kvality života spojené se zdravím (HRQOL) dětí od 2 do 8 let věku po popáleninovém traumatu prostřednictvím dotazníku The Brisbane Burn Scar Impact Profile (BBSIP) v ČR. Cíle: Cílem teoretické části práce bylo přinést přehled literatury a jednotlivých studií o HRQOL dětí po popáleninovém traumatu a její souvislosti. Cílem empirické části bylo posoudit vliv jednotlivých sociodemografických a klinických determinantů na HRQOL těchto pacientů, identifikovat, které z těchto proměnných HRQOL nejvíce predikují a tato zjištění zasadit do kontextu ošetřovatelské praxe stran komplexní péče o dětské pacienty s popáleninami. Dále jsme se v empirické části věnovali výzkumu psychometrických vlastností české verze dotazníku BBSIP na vzorku pediatrických pacientů v ČR. Metodika: Do této průřezové studie bylo zařazeno n = 1221 dětí ve věku od 2 do 8 let, které byly v období 2016-2021 hospitalizovány na Klinice popáleninové medicíny 3. LF UK a FNKV a splnily inklusivní a exklusivní kritéria. Všem pečovatelům těchto dětí byla korespondenčně zaslána sada dotazníků BBSIP, POSAS a PedsQL a proběhl u nich sběr sociodemografických a klinických dat. Na výzkumu participovalo n = 282 pečovatelů. Background: The bachelor's thesis deals with the assessment of the long term health- related the quality of life (HRQOL) in children up 2 to 8 years of age following burn inury by The Brisbane Burn Scar Impact Profile (BBSIP) questionnaire in the Czech Republic. Objectives: The aim of the theoretical part of this thesis was to provide a review of the literature and individual studies about HRQOL in children following burn injury and its context. The aim of the empirical part was to assess the influence of individual socio- demographic and clinical determinants on the HRQOL in these patients, identify, which of these variables most predict the HRQOL and implicate these findings into the context of nursing practice regarding comprehensive care for pediatric patients with burns. In this study we also examined the psychometric properties of the czech version of the BBSIP questionnaire on a sample of pediatric patients in the Czech Republic. Methods: The study population comprised n = 1221 children aged up 2 to 8 years, who were hospitalized at the Department of Burn Medicine, 3rd Medical Faculty, Charles University and the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital in the period 2016-2021 and met inclusive and exclusive criteria.
