cze Abstract:
Doména postoje dětí k epilepsii dosáhla nízkého skóre...Background: This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of quality of life in children with epilepsy aged 11-18 years using a standardized questionnaire (QOLIE-AD-48). How the child's memory is affected, how they concentrate, their physical functioning and behaviour at school. The social support of the environment was observed, but also the stigma of being epileptic. Methods: A standardized questionnaire QOLIE-48-AD was used for the research. The age of all respondents ranged from 11 to 18 years. The children had a confirmed diagnosis of epilepsy and all had experienced more than one seizure. The questionnaires were scored according to a standardized scoring manual. Internal consistency as well as Cronbach's alpha coefficient were used for statistical processing. Results: In the domain of behaviour at school, Czech children achieved a high score of 94.05. Czech children feel high social support from their environment, although their negative opinion of the epilepsy were not affected....
