Abstract: This bachelor thesis is aimed at crystallization of tryptophan synthase TrpB from Psilocybe cubensis. This enzyme can be considered as the next candidate to support the production of Psilocybin, that can be used in studies of drugs curing depression. The focus of this thesis is to prepare the protein for crystallization and grow protein crystals to obtain diffraction data that can be further used for the following determination of its atomic structure.
