Právní aspekty ochrany zvířat proti týrání Abstrakt Diplomová práce podává ucelený přehled platné právní úpravy ochrany zvířat proti týrání na mezinárodní, evropské i národní úrovni. Pojednání se člení na úvod, čtyři kapitoly a závěr ve zkratce shrnující zjištěné poznatky. První úvodní kapitola se děli do tří podkapitol a věnuje se jednak vůbec samotnému konceptu zvířecích práv, včetně vymezení elementárních pojmů "ochrana zvířat proti týrání" a "welfare zvířat", dále etickým, zejména pak náboženským a filosofickým východiskům legislativní ochrany zvířat proti týrání a konečně stručně shrnuje historický vztah mezi lidmi a zvířaty. Druhá kapitola diplomové práce pojednává o nadnárodní úpravě právní ochrany zvířat proti týrání. Její první podkapitola je věnována mezinárodním smlouvám, a to především evropským dohodám přijatým v působnosti Rady Evropy. Druhá podkapitola shrnuje právní úpravu Evropské unie přijatou v oblasti ochrany zvířat, včetně historického exkursu i regulace současné. Nejrozsáhlejší kapitolou je pak kapitola třetí pojednávající o národní úpravě ochrany zvířat proti týrání. První z celkem čtyř podkapitol vymezuje základní charakteristiky národní úpravy. Druhá podkapitola se pak věnuje historii právní ochrany zvířat na našem území. V rámci třetí podkapitoly je pojednáno o úpravě zákona na... Legal Aspects of Protection of Animals against Cruelty Abstract The diploma thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the current legislation on the protection of animals against cruelty at the international, European and national level. The treatise is divided into an introduction, four chapters and a conclusion summarizing the findings. The first introductory chapter is divided into three sub-chapters and is devoted to the concept of animal rights itself, including the definition of the elementary terms "animal protection against cruelty" and "animal welfare", then ethical, especially religious and philosophical starting points for legislative protection of animals against cruelty, and finally briefly summarizes the historical relationship between humans and animals. The second chapter discusses the transnational regulation of the legal protection of animals against cruelty. Its first sub-chapter is devoted to international agreements, and primarily to European agreements adopted under the authority of the Council of Europe. The second sub-chapter summarizes the legislation of the European Union adopted in the field of animal protection, including historical excursus and current regulation.
