V rámci svého šetření realizovaného v období od začátku září do začátku listopadu 2022 se CVVM SOÚ AV ČR zabývalo problematikou životního prostředí. Z hlediska stavu životního prostředí respondenti lépe hodnotí životní prostředí v místě svého bydliště (84 %) oproti celkovému stavu v ČR (75 %), přičemž jde o nejlepší hodnocení od roku 2002. V oblasti ochrany životního prostředí je nejlépe hodnocena aktivita obecních úřadů (59 % kladných odpovědí) a ekologických organizací (56 % kladných odpovědí). Více než čtyři pětiny (84 %) dotázaných si myslí, že dělat něco pro životní prostředí je dobré, i když to stojí čas a peníze. Polovina (50 %) dotázaných si myslí, že tvrzení o ekologických hrozbách jsou zveličena, více než dvě pětiny (42 %) soudí, že nikoliv. Nejhůře respondenti hodnotí situaci v zatížení životního prostředí automobilovou dopravou (16 % pozitivních odpovědí, 78 % negativních). Ze všech posuzovaných oblastí je nejpříznivěji hodnocen dopad zemědělské činnosti na životní prostředí (44 % pozitivních odpovědí, 43 % negativních) a využívání obnovitelných zdrojů (42 % pozitivních odpovědí, 45 % negativních). The Public Opinion Research Centre addressed environmental issues as part of its survey carried out between early September and early November 2022. In terms of the state of the environment, respondents rate the environment in their place of residence better (84%) compared to the overall state of the Czech Republic (75%), the best rating since 2002. The activity of municipal authorities (59% of positive answers) and environmental organisations (56% of positive answers) are the best rated in the field of environmental protection. More than four-fifths (84%) of respondents think that doing something for the environment is good, even if it costs time and money. Half (50%) of respondents think that claims about environmental threats are exaggerated; more than two-fifths (42%) think they are not. Respondents rate the situation with regard to the burden of car traffic on the environment the worst (16% positive responses, 78% negative).Of all the areas assessed, the most favourably rated are the impact of agricultural activities on the environment (44% positive responses, 43% negative) and the use of renewable resources (42% positive responses, 45% negative).
