Do speciálního výzkumu Potraviny 2022 CVVM SOÚ AV ČR zařadilo několik otázek týkajících se České federace potravinových bank (ČFPB).\nO České federaci potravinových bank (ČFPB) dosud neslyšela nadpoloviční většina (51 %) české veřejnosti. Zbývajících 49 % dotázaných o ČFPB slyšelo, nicméně z nich pouze 6 % ví dobře, čím se zabývá, 28 % to ví zhruba a 15 % neví, čím se ČFPB zabývá.\nDle respondentů potřebují nejvíce potravinovou pomoc rodiče samoživitelé (25 %), chudí/sociálně slabí lidé a lidé bez domova (shodně 20 %).\nCo se týká zdrojů, odkud potravinové banky získávají potraviny, tak respondenti nejčastěji uváděli obchodní řetězce, super/hypermarkety, prodejce (34 %), dále pak Sbírky potravin (17 %) a lidi, občany a fyzické osoby (10 %). The CVVM SOÚ AV ČR included several questions about the Czech Federation of Food Banks in the special survey Food 2022.\nA majority (51%) of the Czech public has never heard of the Czech Federation of Food Banks. The remaining 49% of respondents have heard of the Czech Federation of Food Banks, but only 6% of them know what it does well, 28% know roughly and 15% do not know what it does.\nAccording to the respondents, single parents (25%), the poor/socially vulnerable and the homeless (20% and 20% respectively) are the most in need of food aid.\nRegarding the sources from where food banks get their food, respondents most frequently mentioned supermarket chains, super/hypermarkets, retailers (34%), followed by Food Collections (17%) and people, citizens and individuals (10%).
