Cílem této bakalářské práce je rozebrat motiv smrti z rozličných úhlů pohledů v aztécké poezii. Mým hlavním literárním pramenem je sbírka básní Poesía Náhuatl II. - Cantares mexicanos od Angela Maríi Garibaye Kintany. Vzhledem k tomu, že aztécká poezie je psaná nahuatlem budu používat výhradně španělské překlady. Zaměřím se především na tvorbu aztéckých vládců a básníků v jedné osobě z Aztéckého trojspolku "Triple Alianza" na Mexickém území Tenochtitlánu, Texcoca a Tlacopánu. My primary literary source is the collection of poems Poesía Náhuatl II - Cantares mexicanos by Angel María Garibay Kintana. Since Aztec poetry is written in Nahuatl, I will use solely Spanish translations. I will focus on the work of Aztec rulers and poets in one person from the Aztec "Triple Alianza" in the Mexican territory of Tenochtitlán, Texcoco and Tlacopán.
