The goal of this thesis is to investigate the applicability of Solid, an ecosystem of decentralized data storage places, for the processing of guest data in the hospitality industry. We define the requirements and use cases for our applications and take a look at related solutions in this area. Based on the established specifications we design the architecture and the usual hotel operations such as booking, check-in, check-out with Solid Pods acting as data storages. In addition, we explore various procedures regarding the handling of the personal information of guests. The result of this thesis is a proof-of- concept hospitality system, including a guest oriented web portal, a property management system and a Solid profile editor. 1 Cílem této práce je prozkoumaní použitelnosti Solidu, ekosystému decentralizovaných datových úložišť, pro zpracování uživatelských dat v hoteliérství. Zadefinujeme poža- davky a případy použití pro naše aplikace a podíváme se na související řešení v této oblasti. Na základě stanovených specifikací navrhneme architekturu a obvyklé hotelové postupy jako rezervace, check-in, check-out s využitím Solid Podů fungujících jako da- tová úložiště. Navíc zkoumáme různé postupy týkající se nakládání s osobními údaji hostů. Výsledkem práce je prototyp hotelového systému, který zahrnuje webový portál orientovaný na hosty, aplikace na řízení hotelu a editor profilu Solid. 1
