Klimatické změny v posledních desetiletích určitým způsobem letouny ovlivňují. Změny průměrných teplot mají vliv na jejich morfologii, fenologii, diverzitu a rozšíření. Změny v biotopech způsobené antropogenní činností, mají vliv na ztrátu úkrytů a konektivitu stanovišť. Empirická data nám ukazují, že se areály rozšíření u řady druhů netopýrů postupně posouvají do vyšších zeměpisných šířek nebo nadmořských výšek. Matematické modely predikují, že se druhová bohatost netopýrů po celém světě sníží, některé druhy posunou své areály a některé svůj areál zmenší či dokonce vyhynou. Klíčová slova: chiroptera, letouni, posun areálu, bioindikátory, klimatická změna In the last few decades bats are affected by climate change. Changes in average temperatures affect their morphology, phenology, diversity and distribution. Changes in biotopes caused by anthropogenic influences are responsible for the loss of shelters and connectivity of habitats. Empirical data show us that the range expansion of many bat species are gradually shifting to higher latitudes or altitudes. Mathematical models predict that the bat diversity and richness around the world will decline. Some species will shift their ranges and some will shrink their range or even become extinct.
