česky Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem komunikace s lidmi trpícími demencí. Demence je syndrom způsobený progresivním onemocněním mozku, při němž dochází ke zhoršení kognitivních funkcí, mezi které patří např. paměť, myšlení a orientace. Cílem práce je zjistit jakým způsobem komunikují pracovníci s klienty s demencí a zda mají dostatečnou podporu a prostor ze strany zaměstnavatele. V teoretické části bude specifikován syndrom demence, popsány jeho příčiny a vliv na člověka, budou zde popsány přístupy a způsoby práce s cílovou skupinou. Výzkum proběhne smíšenou formou, sběr dat část proběhne pomocí rozhovorů s pracovníky a druhá formou anonymních dotazníků. anglicky This diploma thesis deals with the topic of communication with people suffering from dementia. Dementia is a syndrome caused by a progressive brain disease in which cognitive functions deteriorate, such as memory, thinking and orientation. The aim of the work is to find out how workers communicate with clients with dementia and whether they have sufficient support and space from their employer. The theoretical part will specify the dementia syndrome, describe its causes and impact on humans, there will be described approaches and ways of working with this target group. The research will take place in a mixed form, where one part will take place through interviews with workers and the other in the form of anonymous questionnaires.
