Cílem této diplomové práce je odhalit, do jaké míry současné podoby politické reportáže v televizním zpravodajství odpovídají definici televizní reportáže, kterou nastoluje teorie. Zároveň také porovnává, zda se její současná podoba zásadně liší mezi dvěma hlavními českými zpravodajskými kanály - ČT24 a CNN Prima NEWS. V teoretické části popíše historický vývoj žánru televizní reportáže, jeho současnou podobu podle teoretiků i "ideální" pracovní postupy reportérů. V praktické části však problematiku nesleduje z tradičního pohledu obsahové analýzy - namísto toho se na ni snaží dívat "zevnitř", optikou novinářů aktivně se pohybujících v praxi. Na vzorku šesti aktivních televizních novinářů (tří z každého kanálu) napříč redakční hierarchií pomocí zakotvené teorie zkoumá, zda jejich pohled na televizní reportáž odpovídá teorii a zda si případné souvislosti uvědomují. Na otázkách jako "Co podle Vás dělá správnou reportáž?" či na popisu jejich průměrného pracovního dne nejenom zkonfrontuje realitu s teorií, zároveň také srovná rozdíly mezi těmito dvěma kanály. Především se zaměří na zkušenosti reportérů s pokrýváním událostí parlamentních voleb 2021. The goal of this magister thesis is to find out how much the current appearance of the genre of the "television news reportage" corresponds with theory. It also compares how much, if at all, it differentiates between the two main Czech news television channels - ČT24 and CNN Prima NEWS. The theoretical part describes the historical development of the genre, its current form according to theories and the "ideal" work methods of reporters. The practical part does not follow these problematics by the traditional way of content analysis, however - it instead tries to approach it "from the inside", through the optics of active journalists. Using grounded theory, it examines a sample comprising of six journalists, three from each media outlet. The target is to find out whether their view of the "reportage" genre corresponds with theory and whether or not they know about eventual connections. Using questions like "what makes a good 'reportage' in your opinion" or "what does your usual workday look like", it does not only confront theory with reality. It also compares the two media outlets in between one another. It mostly focuses on the experiences of chosen reporters during the parliamentary election of 2021.
