Jako téma své diplomové práce jsem zvolila Odsun Němců ze Šumperska na stránkách Moravského severu v letech 1945 a 1946. Hlavním cílem je interpretovat dobový mediální diskurz odsunu Němců ze Šumperska a osídlení této oblasti českými obyvateli, a to prostřednictvím obsahové analýzy týdeníku Moravský sever v letech 1945 a 1946. Moravský sever byl pro tyto účely zvolen jako významné periodikum daného mikroregionu té doby s potenciálem odrážet i formovat postoje a nálady místních obyvatel. V první části práce je nastíněn vývoj mnohdy komplikovaných vztahů Čechů a Němců žijících na území českých zemí od poloviny 19. století do konce druhé světové války. Následuje popis průběhu a formálních aspektů poválečného odsunu sudetských Němců a osídlení pohraničí českým obyvatelstvem. To vše nejdřív v celorepublikovém kontextu a poté se zaměřením na oblast šumperského okresu, který prošel vlivem odsunu Němců a následného osídlení významnou proměnou. Samotná obsahová analýza pak ukazuje, že mediální zobrazení Němců v tehdejším Moravském severu bylo převážně negativní. Odsunu Němců byla v rámci periodika věnována poměrně velká pozornost, diskuze o jeho oprávněnosti zde však neprobíhala, odsun byl vnímán jako samozřejmý a nezbytný. For my diploma thesis I chose the topic Transfer of Germans from the Šumperk region and its reflection in Moravský sever weekly. The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the media discourse of the expulsion of Sudeten Germans from the Šumperk region and the settlement of this area by the Czech population. For this purpose the thesis analyzes the content of Moravský sever weekly in 1945 and 1946. I chose Moravský sever weekly for the analysis as an important weekly within the region. The first part of the thesis deals with the development of Czech-German relations from the middle of the 19th century until the end of the Second World War. In next chapters I will try to briefly describe the expulsion of Sudeten Germans from Czechoslovakia and the settlement of the borderland by the Czech population. Finally, the theoretical part deals with the description of the Šumperk region and its history and demography with focus on relations between the Czechs and the Germans. The second part of the thesis presents conclusions of the content analysis. The media portrayal of the Germans in Moravský sever weekly was mostly negative and their expulsion was perceived as necessary.
