Tato bakalářská práce se zaobírá tématem nastolování agendy Evropskou komisí, agendou zkoumanou v této práci je problematika účasti žen na trhu práce. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl objasnit, jakými nástroji k nastolování agendy disponuje Evropská komise a také s jakou situací se v současnosti potýkají ženy na trhu práce. Tato témata jsou propojena v praktické části, která zkoumá, jakým způsobem Evropská komise nastolovala agendu spojenou s účastí žen na trhu práce a jak bylo toto téma Komisí rámcováno. Práce využívá teoretických předpokladů vycházejících z nového institucionalismu, konkrétně předkládá dvě hypotézy. První z nich vychází z racionálního institucionalismu, druhá pak ze sociologického institucionalismu. Tato bakalářská práce se zapojuje do odborných debat o Evropské komisi, jejím postavení a schopnosti nastolovat agendu. Práce také přibližuje, s jakými problémy se potýkají ženy jako skupina na trhu práce a jak jsou tyto problémy adresovány a pojaty Evropskou komisí. Výsledky práce odhalily přítomnost normativního i ekonomického aspektu u rámcování tématu účasti žen na trhu práce Evropskou komisí. This bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the topic of agenda-setting of the European Commission. The studied agenda is the women's participation in the labour market. The primary purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to make clear what are the tools of the European Commission used for agenda-setting and what is the current situation regarding women's participation in the labour market. Both topics are connected in the research part of this thesis which examines how the European Commission set the agenda in the field of women's participation in the labour market and how was this topic framed. This thesis uses theoretical assumptions implied from the new institutionalism and there are two hypotheses introduced in this thesis. The first one stems from the racional institutionalism, the second one originates in sociologist institutionalism. This bachelor's thesis contributes to debates on the status and agenda-setting capabilities of the European Commission. The thesis also describes the issues connected to women's labour market participation in the EU and how these issues are addressed by the European Commission. The outcomes of this thesis revealed that the European Commission used both normative and economic frames for setting the agenda of women's participation in the labour market.
