Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá nadčasovým tématem genderových stereotypů při hraní a při výběru hraček. V teoretické části objasňuje pojmy jako je gender, pohlaví, maskulinita a feminita a v souvislosti s tím sleduje genderovou identitu, její vznik u osobnosti a s ní spojené genderové role. V další části se zajímá o pojmy hra a hračka, rozděluje hru na několik kategorií, a poté se hlouběji dívá na hračku a hru nejen z hlediska filosofického, ale i z hlediska vývojové psychologie, což čtenáři umožní lepší vhled do problému. Po objasnění základních pojmů, pokračuje práce ke genderové preferenci různých typů hraček a k tomu, jak tento jev souvisí s výchovou a společností. Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda se ještě dnes projevují genderové stereotypy ve hře, a proto si v empirické části klade právě tuto otázku a zkoumá tento problém pomocí výzkumu v terénu skrze pozorování dětí ve volné hře. The theoretical part clarifies concepts such as: gender, sex, masculinity and feminity and in this context it looks at gender identity, its development in a personality and gender roles, which are associated with it. In the next part it takes interest in concepts such as game and toy and it divides game into several categories, in addition it takes a closer look at these concepts not only from the view of philosophy, but also from the view of developmental psychology which allows the reader a better insight into the matter. After clarifying these basic concepts, the work continues to gender preference for different types of toys and how this phenomenon relates to upbringing and society. The aim of this work is to find out, whether these gender stereotypes are still present in play nowadays and therefore the work asks this question in the empirical part and it examines this matter in a research through watching children during a spontaneous play.
