Práce shrnuje poznatky získané o vytěžených pískovnách na území Chráněné krajinné oblasti Třeboňsko. Pro zjištění informací o těžbě a pískovnách bylo využito studium písemných dokumentů, starých map, leteckých snímků a terénní průzkum vybraných lokalit. Při průzkumu byla v sektorech o rozloze přibližně 1 ha či délce břehu cca 500 m sledována eroze stěn těžeben, znečištění, využití, půdní kryt, dominantní a invazní druhy rostlin a vlhkost těžeben. Celkem byl vytvořen přehled 127 pískoven, z čehož 37 jich bylo prozkoumáno v terénu. Byla vytvořena klasifikace pískoven na základě stáří, velikosti, vlhkostních podmínek a současného využití. Sledovány byly i změny způsobené těžbou včetně změny půdního krytu a využití míst těžby před těžbou a po těžbě a interakce pískoven s Územním systémem ekologické stability (ÚSES). Největší počet pískoven je menších rozměrů o rozloze do 1 ha, převažují suché těžebny a nejvíce lokalit bylo dotěženo v 70. až 90. letech. Zhruba v polovině případů byl obnoven půdní kryt či využití z období před těžbou. Hlavní změnou půdního krytu je vznik velkých štěrkopískových jezer a lesních porostů, nelesní povrch je po těžbě více diverzifikován. Pískoven přeměněných na ornou půdu či zastavěných je ve zkoumané oblasti minimum. Hrozby v podobě eroze či znečištění jsou běžné, ale žádnou... This thesis summarizes findings gained about abandoned sand and gravel pits located in the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area. A study of written documents, old maps, aerial images and a field survey of selected sites were used to find out information on mining and mining pits. In the survey, erosion of mining walls, pollution, land use, land cover, dominant and invasive plant species and moisture of mining pits were monitored in sectors of approx. 1 ha or the bank length of about 500 m. A total of 127 sites was included, 37 of which were surveyed in the field. A classification has been created based on age, size, moisture conditions and current land use. Changes caused by mining, including changes in land use and land cover before and after mining, as well as the interaction of mining sites with the Territorial System of Ecological Stability (ÚSES) were also monitored. The majority of sand and gravel pits are small with an area less than 1 ha, dry pits predominate, and most sites were abandoned in the 1970s to 1990s. In about half of the cases, the land cover or land use from before mining have been restored.
