V nasledujúcej práci je rozobraný problém s manuálnym zásahom operátora do procesu sústruženia závitu na konvenčnom sústruhu. Pri sústružení závitu musí obsluha vykonať vysunutie noža, zastavenie stroja a reverzáciu chodu v priebehu jednotiek sekúnd. V texte je popísaný návrh prípravku riešiaceho tento problém zautomatizovaním niektorých krokov výrobného procesu. Preto boli navrhnuté tri koncepty prípravku s rôznymi hnacími mechanizmami. Spomedzi nich bolo vybrané jedno konštrukčné riešenie, ktorého funkcia bola početne overená. Čitateľ sa môže zoznámiť s celou konštrukčnou ideou stojacou za vytvorením prípravku na sústruženie závitov. Okrem iného sa môže oboznámiť s problémami, ktoré sa vyskytli pri konštruovaní daného prípravku a ich inžinierskym riešením. Design of thread cutting rig reducing demands on machine operator of conventional lathes is shown in the following thesis. During thread cutting on lathe, operator must execute cutting tool extraction, stopping of the machine, and changing direction of the spindle in the span of few seconds. The design of an auto-retracting tool solves the problem by automatization of these steps of the production process. Therefore, three tool concepts were proposed differing in the cutting tool pull-out mechanism. One solution was chosen, whose function was substantiated by calculation. Reader can acquaint himself with construction idea behind this auto retracting tool for thread cutting. Among other things, reader can explore problems encountered during the process of the construction and its engineering solutions.
