Tato diplomová práce se zabývá řeznými zkouškami užitých vlastností inovativního šroubového vrtáku z rychlořezné oceli. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na rozbor jednotlivých vlivů na proces vrtání, důraz je kladen na vliv geometrie nástroje. Stěžejní experimentální část práce se zabývá vlivem úpravy geometrie šroubovitého vrtáku (úhlu špičky a úhlu hřbetu na fazetce hlavního ostří) na proces obrábění, materiálem obrobku je austenitická korozivzdorná ocel. Dosažené výsledky experimentu jsou využity při vývoji testovaného nástroje. Výsledky ukazují, že vrstva materiálu s vyšší tvrdostí na povrchu obrobku dokáže zvýšit jakost vrtaných děr až dvojnásobně. Pro získání stabilního vrtáku je potřeba úhly špičky a hřbetu volit v závislosti v závislosti na sobě. Obecně lze konstatovat, že pro vrtání austenitické korozivzdorné oceli je vhodný rozsah hodnot úhlu špičky 138° až 142° a úhlu hřbetu 7° až 10°. This master thesis deals with a cutting test on performance of an innovative high-speed steel twist drill. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of individual influences on the drilling process, the emphasis is placed on the influence of tool geometry. The main experimental part of the thesis deals with the influence of twist drill geometry on the cutting performance, specifically influence of the point angle and lip angle on the drilling process. The workpiece material is austenitic stainless steel. The results achieved in a completed experiment are used in a cutting tool development. The achieved results show that a layer of material with higher hardness situated on workpiece can increase a drill holes quality up to twice. To achieve a stable drilling process it is needed to obtain the values of the point angle and lip angle depending on the each other. In general, the recommended application range of these angles while drilling austenitic stainless steel can be 138° to 142° in the case of the point angle and 7° to 10° for lip angle.
