Diplomová práce se zabývá koncepčním návrhem přestavby hnědouhelného kotle na kotel spalující biomasu. V první části práce je popsáno uhlí jakožto palivo a jsou zde uvedeny důvody, proč se od něj ustupuje. V další části práce je uveden popis stávajícího hnědouhelného kotle a koncepční návrh nového rekonstruovaného kotle. Pro oba zdroje jsou následně provedeny bilanční výpočty. Závěrečná část práce se zabývá porovnáním zdrojů na základě provedených bilančních výpočtů. The diploma thesis’s deals with the conceptual design of the coal boiler into biomass boiler conversion. The first part of the thesis describes coal as a fuel, also the reasons why are we quitting from it are mentioned here. The next part of the thesis contains a description of the existing coal boiler and a conceptual design of the new reconstructed boiler. Balance calculations are then performed for both sources. The final part of the thesis deals with the comparison of sources based on performed balance calculations.
