Tato práce se zabývá negativními myšlenkami u matek v kontextu prvních let života jejich prvního narozeného dítěte. Teoretická část práce je dělena na tři části: první představuje negativní myšlenky a doprovodné emoce matek z hlediska psychopatologie, druhá z hlediska sociální psychologie, třetí je uchopuje v kontextu pandemie Covidu-19. Výzkumná část práce představuje výzkumné otázky, použitou metodu interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy, charakteristiku výzkumného vzorku, sběr dat skrz polostrukturovaný rozhovor a doplňující písemné otázky a jsou v ní prezentována výsledná zjištění. Zaprvé, matky zažívají obsahově podobné negativní myšlenky, jež jsou doprovázeny podobnými negativními emocemi, navíc u nich můžeme nalézt podobný vývoj v čase. Zadruhé, s vývojem negativních myšlenek se pojila i změna jejich interpretace a změna v copingových strategiích. Pakliže matky hodnotily své negativní myšlenky a emoce jako běžné a přirozené, lépe se s nimi vyrovnávaly, zvládly se s nimi svěřovat svému okolí a zmenšily tak jejich negativní dopad na dítě. Klíčovou roli zde sehrává vnímání sebe sama jako dost dobré matky. Zatřetí, významnou roli při interpretaci a vyrovnávání se s negativními myšlenkami a emocemi hrají očekávání, která jsou do značné míry ovlivněna nedostatečnou přípravou na rodičovství, dále... 1 ABSTRACT This thesis explores negative thoughts in mothers in the context of the early years of their first- born child's life. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three parts: the first presents the negative thoughts and accompanying emotions of mothers from the perspective of psychopathology, the second from the perspective of social psychology, and the third places them in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research part of the thesis presents the research questions, the method of interpretative phenomenological analysis, the characteristics of the research sample, data collection through semi-structured interviews and additional written questions, and it presents the findings. First, mothers experience content-similar negative thoughts that are accompanied by similar negative emotions; and furthermore, we can find similar developments over time. Second, the evolution of negative thoughts was associated with a change in their interpretations and a change in coping strategies. If mothers evaluated their negative thoughts and emotions as normal and natural, they coped better with them, managed to confide them to others and thus reduced their negative impact on the child.
