This chapter describes the procedure required for recognition and enforcement of judgments given in one member state in another member state, lists related significant decisions of the Court of Justice of the European Union and provides critical evaluation of this procedure by specialists. The aim of Chapters four and five is introduction of regulations that came into force after the Brussels I Regulation.
