Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat a zhodnotit roli British Library v mezinárodních meziknihovních službách (MMS). Tato případová studie rovněž demonstruje na konkrétním příkladu některé problémy současných mezinárodních meziknihovních služeb u nás. Je zde zkoumán dopad zvyšování cen a změn podmínek služeb British Library na poptávku po jejích produktech, kvalitu mezinárodních meziknihovních služeb (rychlost dodání, náklady, kvalita dodaných materiálů apod.) nebo preferenci jiných zdrojů. Práce vychází především ze zkušeností Národní knihovny ČR. The aim of the bachelor work is to describe and evaluate the role of the British library in international interlibrary services. This case study also aspires to demonstrate certain problems of our present international interlibrary services on the basis a specific example. It studies the impact of price increase and changes in conditions of British Library services on demand of its products, quality of international interlibrary services (e.g. delivery speed, costs, quality of supplied material), or preference of other resources. The main focus is laid on the experience of the National library of the Czech Republic.
