Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá postavením jedenapůlté generace arménských migrantek žijících v České republice. Na základě analýzy reprodukce genderových rolí sleduje procesy vyjednávání vlastní pozice a vytváření vlastního sebepojetí dívek. V kontextu života v cílové zemi na ně působí jednak jejich rodina a celá arménská komunita, jež se jim prostřednictvím výchovy snaží předávat hodnoty, normy a praktiky země původu, jednak majoritní společnost. Práce odhaluje, jak jednotlivé informátorky v této své bikulturní pozici vnímají tradiční genderové role a jejich možný vývoj či změnu. Strategie, které dívky volí, dokládají, nakolik se vztahují ke vzorcům země původu a do jaké míry jsou ovlivněny životem v zemi cílové. Přestože znají a v mnohých ohledech chápou vzorce udržované českou společností, přijímají a svým jednáním potvrzují genderové role definované v kontextu vlastní rodiny a arménské komunity. Tato identifikace koresponduje s identifikací s arménskou rodinou jako takovou, která je pro dívky klíčovou referenční skupinou, jež určuje vztahy uvnitř i vně. Vzhledem k tomu, že poskytuje plné zázemí, je akceptována jako arbitr sociálních norem. Klíčová slova: migrace, genderové role, jedenapůltá generace, rodina, výchova, sociální normy, sociální kontrola, arménské migrantky v České republice Diploma thesis is focused on a social status of one and a half generation of female Armenian migrants in Czech republic. It follows processes of a negotiation of their own social position and a creation of their own self-image on basis of gender role reproduction analysis. There are two main influential factors in context with their life in the target country. First one is their family and an Armenian community who is trying to pass Armenian traditions and values to them. The other one is the major society around them. Thesis reveals how individual informants in the bicultural situation perceive traditional gender roles and the possibility of their development or change. Girl's strategies prove to what degree they are following social patterns based on their origins in comparison with the life in the target country. Despite the fact that they know and understand social patterns preserved in Czech society they are accepting and by their behaviour even proving a gender role identification in the context of their family and Armenian community. This identification coresponds with an identification of the common Armenian family because it's girl's key reference group determining all relationships. In view of the fact that the family provides full support it is recognised as an arbiter of social values....
