P edkládaná práce se zabývá vlivem euroregionu Silva Nortica na p eshrani ní spolupráci a regionální identitu. Silva Nortica se nachází na esko-rakouském pohrani í a je nejmlad ím euroregionem v esku. Situace v euroregionu je analyzována pomocí kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu, a tak nabízí komplexní pohled na danou problematiku. V kontextu rámcových institucionálních podmínek euroregionu bylo analyzováno dotazníkové et ení spole n s ízenými rozhovory s p edstaviteli euroregionu. V práci jsou také nastín ny mo né varianty budoucího vývoje euroregionu. Z výsledk výzkumu vyplývá, e mezi místními obyvateli existuje potenciál pro budování p eshrani ního spole enství. Na druhou stranu na institucionální úrovni existuje ada problematických faktor , které mohou bránit prohlubování p eshrani ní spolupráce v esko-rakouském pohrani í. Silva Nortica as the newest Czech euroregion is located in Czech-Austrian borderland. The situation in the euroregion is analyzed through quantitative and qualitative research to offer a complex view on the issue. In context of institutional framework conditions the questionnaire survey together with guided interviews with representatives of the euroregion was analyzed. The thesis also offers possible ways of future development of the euroregion. The results show a good potential among locals to build a cross-border community. However, on the institutional level there are many problematic factors as constrains in future development of cross-border cooperation in Czech-Austrian borderland.
