Ve své práci jsem se rozhodla pojednat o skleněných balsamariích doby římské. Cílem práce je poukázat na problematiku výroby foukaného skla a jeho vývoj v antickém světě. Toto téma jsem si vybrala proto, že převážnou většinu sbírek antického skla, na jejichž zpracování jsem se podílela, tvoří balsamaria. Kromě toho nebylo toto téma v České republice takřka sto let podrobněji zpracováno, naposledy se balsamariím více věnoval J. Čadík. In my work I decided to treat the glass balsamariích Roman period. The aim is to highlight the issue of production of blown glass and its evolution in the ancient world. The topic I chose, because the vast majority of collections of antique glass, on which I was involved in processing, are balsamaria. Moreover, this was not a topic in the Czech Republic almost a hundred years further elaborated, as are more focused balsamariím J. Čadík.
