The bachelor thesis investigates the background of possible presentations of Sudeten Germans in Czech cinematography and describes circumstances of a contemporary political and cultural climate in connection with the expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia after World War II. In four significant periods are analyzed five films - Nástup, Adelheid, Cukrová bouda, Zánik samoty Berhof, Habermannův mlýn. The analysis is based on secondary literature and contemporary critics. Práce diachronně popisuje vývoj zobrazování sudetských Němců a problematiky odsunu v československém a českém filmu. Klade si otázku souvislosti dobového kulturního a politického klimatu s filmovým pojetím této problematiky a trvanlivosti zavedených schémat a klišé. Ve čtyřech výrazných kulturně-historických epochách je na základě sekundární literatury a dobové kritiky analyzováno pět filmů. Padesátá léta: Nástup, šedesátá léta: Adelheid, éra normalizace: Cukrová bouda a Zánik samoty Berhof, po roce 1989: Habermannův mlýn.
