3 Abstrakt Zkoumání hudebních preferencí ve vztahu k dalším aspektům lidského života má dlouhou tradici. Předkládaná práce je zaměřena na zkoumání hudebních preferencí v souvislosti s hodnotovou orientací. Výzkum probíhal smíšenou formou za použití jednak dotazníku, tak především polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, který byl veden s 18 žáky ve věku 16 let. Významnou součástí výzkumu byl zvukový dotazník, jehož cílem bylo především ujasnění těch žánrů, se kterými nemá dotyčný respondent příliš zkušeností. Výsledky zvukového dotazníku byly následně využity jako východisko pro rozdělení respondentů do preferenčních skupin a dále pro porovnání těchto skupin v návaznosti na určité hudební postoje, domácí hudební prostředí a především hodnotové preference. Celkové výsledky výzkumu poukazují na velmi mírné tendence k určitým skupinovým specifikům u respondentů preferujících hip hop, metal a klasickou hudbu. Naopak prokazatelný je vliv domácího hudebního prostředí na formování hudebních preferencí. Nečekaným výsledkem šetření je pak zjištění, že posluchači při použití zvukového dotazníku vykazují pozitivnější hodnocení stejných hudebních žánrů, než když odpovídají pouze podle svých představ o hudebních žánrech. Klíčová slova Hudební preference, hudební žánr, hodnotová orientace, adolescenti, domácí hudební prostředí,... 4 Summary Exploring the musical preferences in relation to other aspects of human life has a long tradition. The present work is focused on exploring musical preferences with regard to personal value system. The research was designed as mixed method using questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The research sample consisted of 18 pupils aged 16 years. An important part of the research was music questionnaire that tried to clarify those genres, that are not familiar to respondents. Results of the music questionnaire were used as the basis for selection of respondents according to the preferential groups and to compare these groups in relation to certain musical attitudes, home musical environment and above all value system. The overall results of the research point to a very slight tendency to group certain specifics of the respondents which prefer hip hop, metal and classical music. On the contrary, results show a demonstrable impact of home music environment in shaping musical preferences. The unexpected outcome of present study is finding that listeners using the music questionnaire rated more positive the same genre of music compared to rating genres only by their concepts about each genre.
