Diplomová práce ze zabývá některými aspekty výuky cizích jazyků v předškolním věku, přičemž je založená na praktických zkušenostech při výuce jazyků v Čechách, Anglii a ve Francii. Teoretická část poukazuje na historický kontext výuky cizích jazyků, na specifičnost předškolního období dítěte a otevírá po teoretické stránce některé problémy, které se týkají právě výuky jazyků v předškolním věku, jako například způsob výuky, podmínky, délka jednotlivých lekcí, kvalifikace lektorů, výsledky dětí, spolupráce s rodinou... Praktická část diplomové práce předkládá konkrétní výsledky pedagogického šetření, které je zaměřeno na současnou situaci na pražských mateřských školách a na podmínky, za jakých výuka cizích jazyků probíhá. Zjišťuje postoje, zkušenosti a problémy ředitelek mateřských škol, lektorů cizích jazyků a rodičů dětí, které výuku jazyka absolvují. The theoretical part of the diploma work point out the historical context of language education, the specifics of a child's preschool period and poses some of the questions connected with languages in preschool age, such as method of education, conditions, duration of a lesson, qualification of the lecturers, returns, cooperation with the family etc. The practical part of the diploma work presents concrete results of the pedagogical investigation, which is focused on the current situation in Prague's kindergartens and on conditions for languages at preschool age.
