[cze][eng] Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem špatného zacházení se starými lidmi (EAN, Elder Abuse and Neglect). V teoretické části autorka přibližuje nejrůznější aspekty jevu EAN, který je široce mezioborový a jehož definice ani prevalence nebyly dosud jednotně určeny. Popisuje projevy jednotlivých typů EAN a příznaky, jejichž znalost je nezbytná pro efektivní detekci jednotlivých případů EAN. Doposud zůstává většina těchto případů skryta, neboť oběti mají tendenci špatné zacházení tajit, a zároveň odborná ani laická veřejnost nemá dostatečné povědomí o tomto problému, aby si jej byla schopna uvědomit. V tomto směru je zásadní vzdělávání veřejnosti, ale autorka považuje za nutnou také celospolečenskou změnu postoje ke starým lidem, který se nyní zdá poněkud diskriminující. Dále se autorka věnuje oběti a pachateli EAN a jejich interakci, v této souvislosti uvádí rizikové faktory a pátrá po potenciálních příčinách špatného zacházení. Podrobná znalost těchto příčin je nezbytná pro vhodné zacílení prevence. Pro komplexní intervenci EAN by byly ideální multioborové týmy složené z nejrůznějších odborníků, ty jsou však zatím celosvětově spíše výjimkou. Mezi těmito odborníky by neměl chybět psycholog, který může hrát v procesech prevence i intervence důležitou roli. V empirické části diplomové práce autorka přibližuje...This thesis deals with the subject of elder abuse and neglect (EAN). The author in her theoretical part presents all sorts of aspects of the EAN phenomenon which is broadly interdisciplinary and whose definition and prevalence were not assessed yet. It describes exposures of single types of EAN and symptoms, whose knowledge is necessary for effective detection of particular cases of EAN. Hitherto most of the cases stay concealed because the victims tend to hide the abuse and simultaneously neither the community of specialists nor non-specialists have sufficient awareness about the problem in order to perceive it. In this course an education of the public is crucial but also the author deems necessary to change the attitude of all-society towards the elder people which at the present time seems quite discriminatory. Farther the author attends to a victim and an offender of EAN and their interaction, in this respect she presents risk factors and searches for potential causations of abuse. Detailed knowledge of these causations is crucial for suitable aiming of prevention. For a complex intervention of EAN would be ideal to create multidisciplinary teams of different specialists.
