Abstract: CÍL PRÁCE Cílem této diplomové práce bylo detekovat a kvantifikovat změny endoteliální exprese VCAM-1 a endoglinu ve stěně cévy u kmene myší C57BL/6J, kterým byla podávána standardní laboratorní dieta. Dále byl sledován vliv krátkodobě podávaného hypolipidemika atorvastatinu na změnu v expresi těchto endoteliálních markerů. Pro zobrazení exprese VCAM-1 a endoglinu byly využity imunohistochemické metody a ke kvantifikaci jejich exprese stereologické metody.
