Diplomová práce "Taiwanská stipendia jako zdroj soft power" pojednává taiwanském pojetí teoretického konceptu soft power, dále o stipendiích, která jsou nabízená zahraničním studentům v rámci snahy získat soft power a především o vlivu, který mají stipendia na jejich recipienty. Jádrem práce je výzkum provedený formou polootevřeného dotazníku, kterému autorka podrobila české recipienty taiwanských stipendií. Práce čtenáři v první kapitole představuje historický kontext pro lepší porozumění současné situaci Taiwanu a také taiwanské pochopení teorie soft power a její aplikaci v praxi. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na stipendia pro zahraniční studenty, financovaná z vládních prostředků Taiwanu. Samotným jádrem práce je třetí kapitola, která prezentuje výsledky provedeného výzkumu. Bachelor thesis "Taiwan Scholarships as a source of Soft Power" deals with the Taiwanese view of the concept of soft power, it introduces the scholarships offered to foreign students and finally assess the impact those scholarship have on their recipients. The core of the thesis is the research carried out by the author using semi-structured questionare and interview. The researched subjects were defined in advance as Czech students who went to one of Taiwan scholarships. The first chapter is an introduction to historical context of Taiwan's contemporary situation. It also describes the Taiwanese soft power interpretation and application in practise. The second chapter focuses on the Taiwanese scholarships offer for foreign students. The third chapter presents the foundings the research.
